Deb guest round 2

I ha my friends deb! This time around I decided to opt for a blue cut out dress, silver accessories and shoes, pink lip and a smokey eye. For my hair I simply pushed it out of the way and to the side to reveal the shapes cut out of the back.

This dress was perfect as the material is a thicker than most and has a high neck making it classy rather than party worthy. Along with the dress I wore a silver lose fitting jacket to making the tightness of the dress become less :)

Photo shoot

So a week or so ago I went and did a photo shoot with the beautiful photographer/model claryssa (www.iskaphotography.com). It was so fun and she is one of the most amazing photographers out and about as she's so happy and fun to be around!

These are three of my favourite shots. I hopefully get some more work from this shoot! Claryssa had already offered to do another shoot with me. So hopefully everything keeps going well!

Deb guest dress

I went to my best friends debutante ball and I got of course dress all pretty for the occasion. I ended up going with my sequined pink dress from boohoo with some simple black heels (which were super comfy!) and pinky eyeshadow (and a plain base else where).

It was sassy and stood out with out stealing the shine off of the deb girly. I highly recommend this look for anybody who had a formal occasion upcoming.

Get on it sas Stalkers! Over and out.

Pink and black

Pink and black today! I decided to have a bright pop of pink today to brighten up the aura!
Today's outfit consists of my boohoo skirt (new piece, check my older posts to find out cost, sizing and the style). It's so fun and it makes my blush and lips pop!
I paired it with a gold heart belt which is black. I used a $10 (AUD) top from 'Ice' with a heart shape back cut out to make the outfit cohesive.
My shoes are my new love, they were $16 and they only had my size left (size 6/37) They were from a boutique but I'm sure there are similar pairs around. They are super comfy and have a small heel to dress it up. There is flower detailing all around them which makes them super cute.
For my make up I just have my everyday mascara , blush and concealer (nothing special, use your own foundation routine) with bright lips! I've just used my reckon super stay 14 hours in ultimate blush, with a coat of my revlon colour burst in hot pink rose to give it a stronger pink tone.

Simple and easy, what do you think? Over and out sas Stalkers

A friends birthday dinner!

Hey! So I went to a friends for a birthday dinner. I wanted to look casual but classy still. It was also quite cold.
So to put together my look I threw a red dress on from dotti for $60 (AUD) in size 6 (Australian sizes). I paired it with my thigh high black socks from a market which costed about $10. My favourite piece is my coat which is a black military styled piece from valley girl which costed $50; I bought it in a size 10 so I could wear layers underneath it.
My hair is softly curled and I paired the outfit with my black oxfords. They are my essential and go-to shoes.

The night was great and a load of fun!

Styling my banana in pajama pants!

So I'm just posting some fun photos along with this post because I love making faces.
Firstly I would pair these blue and white stripped pants with a clean simple plain white top as you don't want to clash patterns, you want to make the pants stand out! I wore a white cropped turtle neck as it is clean, and makes my best assets more focused upon.
Also, don't mind the nail polish, it's not complementary but it was so cool that I had to try it. It's an amazing silver shade done by Sally Hanson.
I simply paired it with gold jewelry which is also plain and simple yet complementary to the pants.
I stuck a bright red lip with it all for a more daring look (and it suits my ghostly white skin tone) but I also have a picture of a pigmented lipgloss being worn. If you don't like lipstick or you don't want to be so bold, a lipgloss is a good alternative.
I love these pants so much, go out and get some sas Stalkers! Contact me!

Red and white

Today I chucked on some clothing and it turned out swell.
I have my creamy white thigh high socks from American apparel on ($18 AUD). My red pleated skirt from American apparel on (size small, should have bought XS, $80) and my boohoo cropped turtle neck on ($16).

For my eyes I chucked on 'the colossal volum express' from maybelline for my mascara and a red toned baby lips in 'berry crush' for my mouth also from maybelline on.

Simple clothing, but classy and full of sad. I would pair this sort of outfit with my black Oxfords usually.
My hair is just thrown back with two bobby pins to keep it out of my face :)

Day out shopping

Today I went out with my favourite girls and just threw on some clothing and bought a couple of items.

Today's outfit consisted of my topshop crystal jeans, top shop lightning crop, valley girl wool vest, valley girl wrap around studded watch and on my lips I had the reckon colourburst in the shade 010 hot pink rose vibrant.
I later threw on some low top white converses.
My nails had a raspberry pink random shade tipped with a white nail art pen.

This outfit was just a comfy day outfit which was jazzed up by the crystals on my pants and the highly pigmented lipgloss. I always find colour on my lips dress up and outfit a little bit.

Today I only spent $30 (AUD) all together. I bought a pair lulu and Rose jeans in white and blue from a Glue store. They were down from $90 to $20, a fabulous bargain! I bought these in a size extra small (size 6 aus).
I also got a top from 'Ally'. It is a croquet batwing top in white (but it is a cream colour). It was $10, down from $25 in the size small/medium.

These pieces are amazing and are sure to stand out!
Over and out sas Stalkers.

Feeling blue?

I have my black crop ($10 from valley girl), blue flow skirt ($20 unknown shop) and my black thigh highs from American apparel ($18).
I am wearing a blue necklace from ice for $12. My nails have emerald city from sports girl and one of the china glaze colours on from the hunger games collection.

Personally I usually don't wear blue but this electric blue stands out against my pale skin so it pulls together well.
Also thigh highs are adorable and kicking it in winter fashion. I highly recommend them!

Chapel street

Today I went to chapel street and I bought some fabulous clothing items. Most of what I bought was on sale as well!

Firstly we went to American apparel and bought an orange turtle neck (size XS) for $46 (AUD) and three pairs of over the knee socks in black, cream and orange for $18 each.

Next we went to topshop and it was having a massive sale and most things were on sale for between 50-70% off. I bought a crop blue sleeveless high necked top (size 6 Australian size) down from $20 to $6.
I got a black baggy oversized top with crystal details on the neck and sleeves (size 6) down from $73 to $36.
And lastly from top shop I bought a pair of light wash jeans with small crystal details (size 6) down from $96 to $29.

At the end of the day I went to forever new and just bought myself a black alligator print (fake) phone cover with slots for cards and money for $10 down from $20. My last purchase of the day was by far my favourite. I bought myself a red, double breasted coat for $100 in a size 10 as I wanted to be able to fit jackets underneath for winter !

Boohoo.com delivery!

Today my boohoo.com package arrived from Ireland to my humble abode in Australia.
Here's a quick overview of all the pieces including; name of piece, price (AUD), colour and size (Australian sizes). I personally love this site as it is cheap but the quality is fairy good. I would recommend boohoo.com. Make sure you get your measurements right though!

I bought 6 pieces of clothing.
'Nicole lace high neck crop top' - $24, cream, size 8: the top was veryyy hard to fit over my shoulders and head and I did need assistance. Though it is quite a journey putting it on it fit me well. I would recommend to go up a size if you are more curvaceous or have a larger upper body. All in all very pretty.

'Victoria open back crop top' - $16, black, size 8; this top was well fitted to my upper body and was super stretchy. The open back is gorgeous and it is very flattering. It was true to size this top.

'Jennifer robbed ponte better skater skirt ' - $24, bright pink, size 8;
this skirt was too large for me but that was my own fault of ordering an 8 instead of a 6 as my waist is smaller than my upper body. Otherwise it would have been true to size. The pink is a true colour and should be carefully washed. The ribbed texture was different but suitable for the upcoming colder months in Australia. This is an amazing skirt to add a pop of colour to any outfit.

'Felicity cross back tartan skater dress' - $30, red and black tartan, size 8;
for dresses I usually get whatever my top size is as the top halves are usually tighter on my selected dress styles but in this case I probably could have gone down to a 6. Though I could have, the 8 still fits fine. I love the pattern and you can easily sad it up and down with accessories.

'Lilly off the shoulder crop Bardot top' - $16, red, size 8:
this top is amazingggg. I could have gone a 6 in this as well but that's because of my lack in bust. On someone with a B or more cup, this could has fitted a tad more. But this top still stayed on and showed my shoulders really elegantly. Great piece overall.

'Olivia zip back sequin long sleeve dress' - $50, soft pink, size 8;
This dress was perfect! No size problems and is utterly flattering. This is very true to size and the quality is stunning. I will be wearing this to my best friends debutante ball. Very sassy.

So from what I've gathered, a few stitches here and there and a better look at what size I pick are the only things that could have been worked upon. The quality was ace and was thick enough for winter. Also my Stalkers, if you haven't noticed I like bright colours especially red Ahaha. Crisp. Contact me! Give me your opinions!

Casual day at home

I'm on holidays at the moment for school but of course they have dumped an unbelievable amount of work on every bodies shoulders. Naturally I have to spend some time at home instead of being out and about. So I put together a comfy but stylish alternative. Why not look good while reaching for those A grades or working from home?
The outfit consists of a knitted jumper from Dotti for $40 (AUD). I have paired it with some black pant/leggings/pixie pants from forever new for $50 which are comfy yet have more of a stylish touch compared to your regular leggings.

For makeup I have a red lipstick in the shade 'true red' on my lips from which was a birthday present, but is from the 'Neways' brand. This colour is more of an orange red compared to a so called 'true' red. None the less it still looks dashing.
My eyes just have the maybelline 'big' lashes mascara on which I think is very good as it separates your lashes.
Lastly my nails are in the shade 'emerald city' from sports girl for $10.
Just left my hair out and messy from 2 day curls.
Anyhow, have a sassy day my Stalkers. Contact me: itshelena@mail.com or itshelenasblog@gmail.com
